“Tim and I had a fantastic experience with 'The Low Down'! Our ceremony was running late, therefore the band had to wait around and so did our guests! However, when their opportunity came to set up, they did not keep us waiting and livened up the whole audience once they began! They were extremely friendly and professional and really set a fantastic mood at our wedding reception. Tim and I had a surprise dance. We supplied the the Band with the CD that we needed playing and it was played in perfect time for our first dance. Thank you so much guys! We most certainly will be recommending you! Best wishes Mr & Mrs Marshall”

“The Low Down were FANTASTIC! They played all our requests and really got the crowd going. My personal highlights were Teenage Dirtbag and Mr Brightside and Park Life was popular too! We couldn't have asked them for more. A total pleasure to work with! Ben was really lovely to chat to on the phone beforehand and they really cared about making our wedding day perfect. Our venue were really strict about timings, including when the band needed to be finished, and The Low Down were really flexible with their timings which made things so much easier.”

“We had The Low Down perform at our evening wedding reception. From the moment I had the first email, I knew we had the right band; organised, happy to hear our crazy ideas for our first dance, punctual and Ben, Arron and Sam are really passionate about what they do and this certainly shines through when they perform. The music was great with a repertoire that covered all types of music and eras, so the dance floor was full all night. We had lots of our guests saying how great the band were and how did we find them and I would certainly recommend The Low Down to our family and friends when they are looking to find a great band. “The Low Down were the perfect band for the Officers’ Mess Summer Ball at Fort Blockhouse. Communication was hassle free and they arrived early to get set up so were ready in plenty of time. They were really accommodating of our other entertainers, working together to make sure the programme fitted the event. When it came to the music, they were brilliant. A great sound from the 3 piece band, a broad repertoire which kept the dance floor full all night. There were songs to keep everyone happy; I’m pretty sure I saw everyone dancing at some time during the night. The disco between sets was great too; no DJ to get embarrassed by short periods of empty dance floor while we recovered, but a great choice of songs (which we helped pick) kept the dancing going all night and the software for playing it provided a seamless transition between songs giving the impression that a real DJ was spinning the records. Packing away at the end of the night was also painless and allowed the party to finish smoothly. As the organiser, I was really pleased with the ease of booking and arrangements. I enjoyed dancing more than I am used to and was really pleased that so many of the guests gave the thumbs up. I would book The Low Down again without hesitation.”

“We couldn't have asked for a better band! — The Low Down were phenomenal and had everyone up dancing from the moment they started until the moment they finished....our wedding party even chanted for an encore which they were more than happy to do! And had everyone signing along with the final song! They learnt and played our first dance accompanied by a duet with our sister-in-law on vocals - this was something we will cherish forever. They are the nicest guys with a fantastic sound and their set list was perfect. So glad the wedding dress allowed for a serious amount of dancing! We highly recommend The Low Down for any occasion.”

We loved how versatile and diverse the music was and they played to suit all types and kept everyone dancing! I would highly recommend The Low Down to anyone from any age range to enjoy a great band with fantastic talent. Thanks again from us both, Chris and Emma.”

“We booked The Low Down for our charity fundraiser/20th anniversary ball and they were absolutely fantastic. We wouldn't hesitate to book them again or refer to friends! I had briefly spoken with them prior to the evening, and they were very helpful in making recommendations to the set-up and flow. They arrived exceptionally early to set-up and sound check, and were very professional throughout the evening. They were extremely accommodating in playing live music for us as we presented the awards at short notice (in addition to the live sets we had booked!). The Low Down were really good at engaging with the crowd and kept the dancefloor full! They played a great range of music and we had a lot of positive feedback from our guests about them.
